Minnesota Hockey District 15

Players may report to rink at 6:00 pm in preparation for our 7:00 game.

There is NO REQUIRED PLAYER MEETING. The Minnesota Hockey staff will give the boys any information they need in the locker room before the game.

1. The NEW updated schedule (with us in the earned Blue Pool) is posted on PDF Bracket below.

2. We now play on Friday at 7:00, so adjust hotel reservations accordingly. Gametimes are now TBD based on winning and losing (Friday win= Saturday at 2:00; Friday lose=Saturday at 4:00).

3. I will be contacting you individually for my checklist of missing items. You can save us both the trouble by being sure that your son is registered for all phases (I am missing a few still), and emailing me a scan of a government birth certificate if I did not receive a hard-copy already.

4. I do have 1 more form that we can exchange electronically that will close the deal.

 PHASE 4: 3-game Statewide Spring Festival  at Wakota Arena Saturday, April 28-April 29,    (Phase 3&4 Cost: $170)

At the Spring Festival in April, all players from all districts will be evaluated and a group of 102 players will be selected from that event to attend the:

PHASE 5: Minnesota Hockey Reebok High Performance 15 Summer Festival in St. Cloud, June 9-14. The six-day event includes a full week of games, practices, off-ice training and lifestyle management. College and High School Coaches are teamed with current or former college and professional players who serve as coaches for the week. (Cost: $600)

All 102 players are evaluated and ranked for the purpose of forming a list of 21 players with alternates to participate in Phase 7:

PHASE 7: USA HOCKEY NATIONAL SELECT 15 DEVELOPMENT CAMP (July 15-21st in Rochester, New York, where players from all over the United States will be drafted to form 12 teams for the festival. (Cost $300 plus airfare). (PHASE 6 is a pre-camp to prime MN players who are going to NY. This skills pre-camp is July 10-13 at the Schwan’s Super Rink in Blaine).
