2012 Bantam B District 15 Tournament
Top 8 teams from the league move on to the District 15 Tournament February 17-19, 2012 in Benson Minnesota. Top 3 Teams from the District Tournament move on to the Regional Tournament in St Cloud Minnesota March 3-5, 2012.
It was decided at the Winter Meeting that the League Champions in the B Leagues and Girls Leagues will not receive an automatic berth to regions this year like the A Leagues. The associations felt that it should have been determined before the season started. Therefore the District Tournaments will determine all the reginal berths in the B and Girls Leagues. It will be proposed that in the new handbook that will be approved at the spring meeting that all leagues will have the league champions get an automatic berth to regions whenever there are 3 or more teams going to regions. The District Tournament will determine the other teams that advance to Regions and it will also determine the Seeding of all of the teams advancing. In a year when only 2 or less teams advance to regions then the District Tournament will determine both teams.
